Overview
Why CORDAX
Every project loses time and money on MEP coordination. Contractors, home builders, & designers need MEP designs without the bottlenecks. CORDAX turns 2D floorplans into coordinated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing layouts automatically - cutting design costs, reducing clashes, and getting you to build FASTER.
Background
Our Story
CORDAX was born out of lived experience. Jack, who worked at PCL and Dialogue, saw first-hand how commercial projects ran like well-oiled machines—precise, coordinated, and planned down to every detail. Simon, who grew up on jobsites with his dad, a contractor, saw the opposite on the residential side: mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems were rarely planned at all. Instead, they were handled ad hoc on site, leading to RFIs, delays, and costly rework.
After hundreds of interviews with Canadian contractors, the pain Simon’s dad had lived for years was echoed across the country. Jack, having seen how commercial projects solved it, knew there had to be a better way for residential. That’s why we founded CORDAX. Our mission is simple: bring commercial-level mechanical, electrical, and plumbing coordination down to the residential level.
Today, CORDAX takes 2D architectural floorplans and instantly generates build-ready, clash-free MEP layouts. Contractors told us the same story over and over: coordination is slow, change orders are expensive, and rework kills margins. With CORDAX, projects can finally run with the same precision and predictability that commercial builders have long enjoyed.
